Young woman gets fiddle repaired using donation

This young lady was able to get her fiddle repaired using a $500 donation from Athens Artists Memorial Project (AAMP)!

She and her parents were able to stop by our last board meeting to pick up their check, but they also were kind enough to share a tune! She payed a song for us (with considerable talent for her young age!), and was accompanied by her proud papa on guitar.

This type of donation is our favorite as we were able to reach TWO community members! Not only did she get her beloved fiddle repaired as the $500 passed through her hands, but the money ultimately ended up in the hands of a local repair man (and likely a musician himself). Win-Win!
