Thanks to a generous donation (which paid for the accountant and lawyers fees) from Lucian and Lori Spataro, the Athens Artists Memorial Project is now an official legitimate non profit charity!
We are organizing our new board of directors for 2022, and are now able to issue tax deductible receipts to our future donors. This donation was made in the memory of Lucian’s brother John Spataro, and we are all very excited about the possibilities this brings to our organization.
AAMP held our first meeting at the OU Inn in October and elected Doug Brooks as our first acting President of the Board, with Roman Warmke as Treasurer, Maria Warmke as Secretary, and Lucian Spataro (at-large). We’ll be filling the other 3 board seats before 2022.
