Janna Chimeli is originally from Niterói, Rio de Janeiro, Brazil, and has lived in Athens, Ohio, for over 21 years. She is deeply passionate about community involvement, music education, and the arts.
Dr. Chimeli earned her Ph.D. in Experimental Psychology from Ohio University, specializing in Judgment and Decision Making, and has taught statistics and analytics for over 15 years. Her research focuses on rationality and choice models, particularly those that assess and predict information search, judgment heuristics, biases, and decision-making.
