AAMP was thrilled to help TWO local music and arts organizations with ONE donation!
We donated $1,000 to Federal Valley Resource Center for rental space for the the Lightside Acting Troupe and Choir for their rehearsals.
We love it when our donations can help multiple people with one donation! Win. Win!
Federal Valley Resource Center is an amazing organization that we have supported in the past. They offer many arts and music programs (free concerts, art classes, jam sessions for local musicians, etc) and offer a free music lending library (much like your local library, but they offer free loans of instruments instead of books) and free and low cost music lessons! (They also offer a “no questions asked” free food bank and free community garden.)
Lightside Acting Troupe and Choir is a local community acting group and chorus that offer several productions and concerts throughout the year, often with free admission to the community. They are proud to find roles for any child/youth/family who are interested in performance with the belief that they help to build confidence, leadership skills, community building, and social awareness. They are committed to helping youth develop these talents in a respectful and inspiring peer environment.
