AAMP was thrilled to donate $850 to Rising Appalachia’s camps for music and songwriting instruction and workshops!
Rising Appalachia hosts 9 weeks of outdoor summer camps, home school programs, after-school programs, and workshops for our region.
They applied for funding to hire a local musician to teach campers how to play an instrument and write a song. Funding for this music program would reach approximately 32 children from our region.
Their request was approved by our Board of Directors and we hope these kids have a blast at their camps this summer and cultivate an interest in music and the arts!
